Bridges

I am most recently looking at the dynamics of relationships and how careless we are with relationships, we can be guilty of keeping the bridge up because we may have to cross the path of that person again or we can be guilty of destroying the bridge because we assume that we may never need that bridge again.

  1. That's an interesting look at how we do relationships, I think...a true one, too, unfortunately. It seems to speak to how people of this microwave, disposable age treat most things, including personal relationships.

  2. Sometimes you never know the importance of a bridge until you can no longer cross it for what ever reasons. However, it does not mean that we don't need the bridge. It simply means that it will take us longer to get to our destination and even take unnecessary detour. Let’s respect and appreciate the bridges, people, in our lives

  3. like a bridge a relationship is only as strong as the beams that hold it up...the "beams" of any relationship such as communication, trust, respect, honesty and forgiveness are vital to hold it up and remain sturdy to handle what ever comes along to challenge that bridge.
